Outdoor Spaces
All within a short walk or drive are a range of great outdoor spaces to enjoy and explore, such as:
- Eversley Park & Pavillion (10-minute walk) – Large green spaces for leisurely strolls.
- Howard Park (19-minute walk) – Offers a kids playground, as well as basketball and tennis courts.
- Wat Tyler Country Park (8-minute drive) – Acres of country walks, wildlife spotting and kids adventure play.
- Northlands Parks (17-minute walk) – Large parkland, with rose gardens, kids playground, skateboard park and large fishing lakes.
Sports & Leisure
For sports and leisure there are plenty of choices, including:
- Eversley Leisure Centre (11-minute walk) – Hosts a gym, swimming pool, 5G football pitch and a gymnasium which is home to the South Essex Gymnastics club.
- Basildon Sporting Village (11-minute drive) – Offers an Olympic-size swimming pool, a 112-station gym, an eight-court sports hall, outdoor courts (Inc padel ball, netball, hockey), along with climbing facilities and a 400m running track.
- Festival Leisure Park (11-minute drive) – A range of activities on offer, from bowling, crazy golf, indoor karting or a multi-screen cinema, Cineworld. In addition to these are a range of restaurants such as Nando’s, TGI Friday’s & Harvester.
Shopping
There are a host of shopping options to meet the needs of all households, some of these include:
- Pitsea High Road (4-minute drive) – Here are range of supermarkets, such as Aldi, Lidl, Tesco & The Range. Also on selected days throughout the week is the Pitsea Market.
- Basildon Town Centre (6-minute drive) - Within the town centre is Eastgate Shopping Centre, here you’ll find brands such as HMV, River Island, Primark, as well as a range coffee shops such as Costa Coffee.
Travel
Tyefields is within easy reach of the A127, A13, A130 and M25, with these road networks being ideal for those commuting by car, the main road network provides access to the following:
- Dartford River Crossing
- London Canary Wharf
- Chelmsford City
- Southend-on-Sea City
- Lakeside Shopping Centre
Only a 4-minute drive is Pitsea Train Station, operated by C2C, with direct links into London Fenchurch Street in just 44 minutes. In the opposite direction you can get a train into Southend-On-Sea in 19 minutes.
